Weekly Wrap-Up | Slowing Down With Jesus
What We Learned This Week
This week at Little Honey Ministries, we slowed down together. We talked about the kind of rest Jesus offers and how peace is often found in quiet moments we usually rush past. We reflected on gratitude, slowing our homes down for summer, creating gentle rhythms for our families, and remembering that our worth is not found in constant productivity. Some weeks feel loud and overwhelming, but this week reminded me that Jesus often meets us in stillness.
We learned that:
- biblical rest is deeper than physical rest
- gratitude grows when we intentionally pause and reflect
- summer does not have to feel packed full to be meaningful
- Jesus never rushed, even when life around Him felt busy
I think many of us are craving slower rhythms without completely losing structure. Between summer schedules, church events, motherhood, responsibilities, and everyday life, it becomes very easy to feel emotionally exhausted without even realizing it. But Jesus continues to invite weary people closer. Not into perfection or pressure, but into peace. As we move into a new week, my prayer is that our homes feel a little calmer, our hearts feel a little lighter, and our faith feels more grounded in the middle of ordinary life.

This Week’s Encouragement
You do not have to constantly prove your worth through busyness.
Rest is not laziness. Slowing down is not failure. Quiet moments are not wasted. Sometimes the most meaningful growth happens slowly.
