Week 3 | Day 5 – Prayer Includes Asking for Help (Growing Honey)

This week, we’ve been learning that:

• Prayer is talking to God

• God listens when we pray

• We can pray anytime

• Prayer includes gratitude

Today, we’re learning another important truth:

Prayer includes asking God for help.

God is our Father, and good fathers care about what their children need.

God invites us to come to Him when we need help, comfort, or guidance.

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”

Matthew 7:7

This verse reminds us that God welcomes our requests.

Asking God for help is an act of trust.

Today’s Truth

God cares about what I need.

God invites us to ask Him for help because He cares about what’s happening in our lives.

We can ask God for help with school, friendships, decisions, or worries.

Asking God for help reminds us that we don’t have to handle everything on our own.

Prayer

Dear God, Thank You for listening when I ask for help.  Please guide me and care for me today.  Amen.
