Week 3 | Day 5 – Prayer Includes Asking for Help (Little Honey)
his week, we’ve been learning that:
• Prayer is talking to God
• God listens when we pray
• We can pray anytime
• Prayer includes gratitude
Today, we’re learning another important truth:
Prayer includes asking God for help.
God is our Father, and good fathers care about what their children need.
God invites us to come to Him when we need help, comfort, or guidance.
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”
Matthew 7:7
This verse reminds us that God welcomes our requests.
Asking God for help is an act of trust.
Today’s Truth
I can ask God for help.
Sometimes things feel hard.
Sometimes we feel scared or unsure.
God wants to help His children.
We can ask God for help anytime.
Prayer:
Dear God, Please help me today. Thank You for caring about me. Amen.
Activity:
Hold your hands open and say together: “God, please help me.”
Optional Supplies or Resources: Bible, Journal
Looking Ahead
Tomorrow, we will slow down and take time to reflect on what prayer means and how God has been teaching us this week.
