Reflecting on God as My Father (Growing Honey)
Welcome to Day Six.
All week long, we have been learning what it means to have God as our Father.
We’ve learned that God:
• Loves us
• Cares for us
• Provides for us
• Guides us
• Protects us
Today is a day to slow down.
Instead of learning something new, today we are taking time to reflect, to think about what we’ve learned and how it has shaped our hearts this week.
Reflection helps us remember God’s truth and allows it to grow deeper inside us.
“He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”” Psalm 46:10
This verse reminds us that sometimes the best way to learn is to be still, quiet our hearts, and remember who God is.
Today’s Truth:
Remembering what we’ve learned about God.
Reflection helps us see how God has been teaching us.
This week, you learned that God is not distant, He is a caring Father who is involved in your life.
Today, we pause to remember those truths and thank God for them.
Prayer:
Dear God, Thank You for everything You have taught me this week. Help me remember Your love and care. Amen.
Activity:
• One thing I learned about God this week is __________.
• One way God helped me this week was __________.
Recommended Supplies or Resources: Bible, Journal, Pencil
Looking Ahead:
Tomorrow, we will wrap up the week by celebrating who we are: God’s children, loved, cared for, and held by our Heavenly Father.
