I Can Follow God’s Word (Little Honey)

Welcome to Day Five

This week, we’ve learned:

• Day 1: God made me on purpose

• Day 2: God’s Word is sweet

• Day 3: God’s Word is true

• Day 4: God speaks through His Word

Today, we’re learning how to respond: We can follow God’s Word in our everyday lives. 

God doesn’t give us His Word just to read, it helps us know how to live.

“Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.”  James 1:22 

Today’s Truth: I can follow God’s Word. 

God’s Word teaches us how to be kind.

God’s Word teaches us how to love.

God’s Word teaches us how to obey.

When we listen to God and try our best to do what He says, we are following Him.

God is happy when we try, even when we’re still learning.

Prayer:

Dear God, Thank You for Your Word. Help me listen and obey You. Amen.

Simple Activity:

Think of one kind thing you can do today and say: “I can follow God’s Word.”
