Week 6 | Day 2 – God’s Love Shapes Us (Little Honey)

The Bible tells us that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

That means God loved us before we got everything right.

God didn’t wait for us to be perfect.

He didn’t wait for us to clean ourselves up.

He loved us first.

“But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”  Romans 5:8

How does knowing God loves you change how you see yourself?

Today’s Truth:

God loves me no matter what.

God loved me before I ever knew Him.

God loves me even when I make mistakes.

God’s love never goes away.

Because God loves me, I am special.

Prayer:

Dear God, Thank You for loving me.  Help me remember that You love me always.  Amen.

Activity:

Draw a picture of yourself and add a heart around it.  As you draw, say together:  “God loves me.”
