Week 6 | Day 2 – God’s Love Shapes Us (Growing Honey)
The Bible tells us that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
That means God loved us before we got everything right.
God didn’t wait for us to be perfect.
He didn’t wait for us to clean ourselves up.
He loved us first.
“But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
How does knowing God loves you change how you see yourself?
Today’s Truth:
God’s love shapes how we see ourselves.
God showed His love by sending Jesus for us, even before we followed Him.
That means God’s love is not something we earn.
Knowing we are loved by God helps us feel confident, secure, and valued.
Prayer:
Dear God, Thank You for loving me even when I mess up. Help me see myself the way You see me. Amen.
Activity:
Write one sentence that starts with: “Because God loves me, I can…”
(Examples: be brave, forgive others, try again.)
Optional Supplies or Resources: Bible, Journal, Pen or Pencil
Looking Ahead:
Tomorrow, we’ll look at how our words can either build others up or tear them down, and why loving others starts with how we speak.
