Week 3 | Day 6 – Reflecting on Prayer (Growing Honey)

All week long, we have been learning about prayer, what it is and why it matters.

We’ve learned that:

• Prayer is talking to God

• God listens when we pray

• We can pray anytime

• Prayer includes gratitude

• Prayer includes asking God for help

Today is a day to slow down.

Instead of learning something new, we are taking time to reflect on how God has been teaching us about prayer and how prayer connects us to Him.

“The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.”

Psalm 145:18

This verse reminds us that prayer brings us close to God.

When we pray, we are never alone, God is near.

Today’s Truth

Prayer helps me stay close to God.

Prayer is not just something we do once, it’s something we can return to again and again.

When we pray, we remember that God is near and cares about what’s happening in our lives.

Reflection helps us notice how God has been teaching us throughout the week.

Dear God, Thank You for teaching me about prayer.  Help me keep talking to You every day.  Amen.
