Week 6 | Day 4 – Our Actions Show Our Love (Little Honey)

The Bible tells us that faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

That doesn’t mean our faith isn’t real,  it means our faith is meant to be lived out.

Love isn’t just kind words or good intentions.

Love shows up in our actions. 

“In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead”

James 2:17

What is one loving action you can take today?

Today’s Truth:

Love is something I do.

Love is not just what I say.

Love is what I do.

When I help, share, or listen,

I am showing love.

Prayer:

Dear God, Help me show love today.  Help me do kind things for others.  Amen.

Activity:

Give your child one simple “love job” today (helping clean up, holding the door, sharing a toy). Afterward, say together:  “I showed love today.”

Tomorrow, we’ll look at how kindness often requires noticing others, and how God calls us to show compassion,  even when it’s uncomfortable.
