Week 6 | Day 1 – God Helps Me Love Others Well (Little Honey)

This week at Little Honey Academy, we’re learning how God helps us love others well.

Today’s verse says, ‘Let us love one another, for love comes from God.’

That reminds us of something really important, love doesn’t start with us.

Love comes from God.

God loves us first.

He loves us when we do things right, and He loves us when we mess up.

And because God loves us, He teaches us how to love others.

“Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.”  1 John 4:7

How can you show God’s love to someone today?

Today’s Truth:

God teaches me to love others.

God loves me very much.

God wants me to love others too.

When I share, help, or use kind words,

I am showing God’s love.

Prayer:

Dear God, Thank You for loving me.  Help me love others today.  Amen.

Activity:

Have your child say: “I can show God’s love.”  Then ask them to name one person they can be kind to today.
