Week 4 | Day 2 – God’s Word Tells Us Who He Is (Rooted Honey)

Yesterday, we learned that the Bible is God’s Word.

Today, we’re learning something just as important:

God’s Word tells us who God is.

The Bible helps us know God, not just facts about Him, but His heart, His character, and His love for us.

“The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love.”

Psalm 103:8

This verse reminds us that God’s Word shows us what God is like.

Today’s Truth:

Scripture reveals God’s character.

The Bible shows us a God who is compassionate, patient, and faithful.

As we grow, learning to study Scripture helps us see how God stays the same, even when life changes.

God’s character gives us stability.

Prayer:

Dear God, Thank You for revealing Yourself through Scripture.  Help me trust Your character and grow closer to You.  Amen.
