Week 4 | Day 2 – God’s Word Tells Us Who He Is (Growing Honey)

Yesterday, we learned that the Bible is God’s Word.

Today, we’re learning something just as important:

God’s Word tells us who God is.

The Bible helps us know God, not just facts about Him, but His heart, His character, and His love for us.

“The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love.”

Psalm 103:8

This verse reminds us that God’s Word shows us what God is like.

Today’s Truth:

God shows His character through Scripture.

The Bible helps us understand who God is, His love, patience, kindness, and faithfulness.

When we read God’s Word, we learn what we can trust about Him.

Knowing who God is helps us trust Him more.

Prayer: 

Dear God, Thank You for showing us who You are through Your Word.

Help me trust You more as I learn about You.

Amen.
