Finding Peace in Busy Seasons
“You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.” Isaiah 26:3
Some seasons of life are naturally busy. School starts back, schedules fill up, work gets hectic, meals need cooking, laundry piles up, and there always seems to be one more thing on the to-do list. Before long, our days can feel so full that we forget to slow down and spend time with the One who gives us peace.
God never asked us to have perfect schedules. He asked us to trust Him.
Jesus lived a full life. Crowds followed Him everywhere. People constantly needed Him. Yet throughout Scripture we see Him stepping away to pray, spending time with His Father, and refusing to let busyness replace what mattered most.
Peace isn’t found when everything is finished. Peace is found when we remember who is in control.
As a family, it’s easy to think you’ll read the Bible together “when things slow down.” But often, life never really slows down. That’s why even a few intentional minutes together can make a lasting difference. Read one verse. Pray before school. Thank God at dinner. End the day with gratitude instead of worry.
Those small moments become the foundation that carries your family through the busiest seasons.
Today, ask yourself, are we filling every moment with activity, or are we making room for God to fill our hearts with His peace?
No matter how busy life becomes, God’s peace is always available to those who turn to Him.

Family Prayer
Dear Jesus, thank You for being our source of peace. When life feels busy and overwhelming, help us remember to turn to You first. Teach our family to slow down, trust You, and make time for what matters most. Fill our hearts with Your peace, and help us encourage one another to keep our eyes on You each day. Amen.
