Week 5 | Day 4- Praying for Wisdom (Rooted Honey)

This week, we’ve learned what wisdom is, where wisdom comes from, and how wise choices honor God.
Today, we’re learning something comforting and important:

God invites us to ask Him for wisdom.

We don’t have to guess what to do.
We don’t have to handle decisions alone.
God wants to help guide us.

“For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding” Proverbs 2:6

This verse reminds us that wisdom is a gift God is willing to give when we ask.

Today’s Truth:

Prayer invites God into our decisions.

As life gets more complex, decisions can feel heavier.
Prayer reminds us that we don’t have to rely on ourselves alone.

Asking God for wisdom is an act of trust and humility

Prayer:

Dear God, Help me come to You when I don’t know what to do.  I trust You to guide my choices.  Amen.

Reflection Prompt:
Why do you think God wants us to ask Him for wisdom instead of deciding alone?

Optional Supplies or Resources: Bible, Journal

Looking Ahead:

Tomorrow, we’ll learn how slowing down and thinking before we choose helps us live wisely.  As you move through today, practice pausing and asking God for wisdom.
