Week 4 | Day 1 – What is the Bible? (Little Honey)

Last week, we learned that we can talk to God through prayer.

This week, we’re learning something just as important:

God talks to us through His Word.

The Bible is not just a book.

It is God’s Word, given to teach us, guide us, and help us grow in faith.

“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness”

2 Timothy 3:16

This verse reminds us that the Bible comes from God and has a purpose in our lives.

Today’s Truth:

The Bible is God’s Word.

The Bible tells us about God.

The Bible tells us how much God loves us.

When we hear Bible stories, God is teaching us.

God gave us the Bible because He wants us to know Him.

Prayer:

Dear God, Thank You for the Bible.  Thank You for teaching me.  Help me listen to Your Word.  Amen.

Activity:

Let your child hold the Bible and say together:  “The Bible is God’s Word.”
