Week 4 | Day 2 – God’s Word Tells Us Who He Is (Little Honey)

Yesterday, we learned that the Bible is God’s Word.

Today, we’re learning something just as important:

God’s Word tells us who God is.

The Bible helps us know God, not just facts about Him, but His heart, His character, and His love for us.

“The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love.”

Psalm 103:8

This verse reminds us that God’s Word shows us what God is like.

Today’s Truth:

The Bible tells me what God is like.

The Bible tells us God is loving.

The Bible tells us God is kind.

The Bible tells us God is good.

When we hear Bible stories, God is showing us His heart.

Prayer:

Dear God, Thank You for loving me.  Thank You for being kind and good.

Help me learn about You. Amen.

Activity:

Draw a heart and say together:  “God is loving.”
