Week 4 | Day 1 – What is the Bible? (Growing Honey)

Last week, we learned that we can talk to God through prayer.

This week, we’re learning something just as important:

God talks to us through His Word.

The Bible is not just a book.

It is God’s Word, given to teach us, guide us, and help us grow in faith.

“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness”

2 Timothy 3:16

This verse reminds us that the Bible comes from God and has a purpose in our lives.

Today’s Truth:

God uses the Bible to teach us.

The Bible helps us understand who God is and how He wants us to live.

It teaches us what is true and good.

Reading the Bible helps us learn God’s ways and grow closer to Him.

Prayer:

Dear God, Thank You for giving us Your Word.  Help me learn from the Bible and grow in faith.  Amen.

Activity:

Write or draw one thing you think the Bible teaches us about God.
