I Can Follow God’s Word (Growing Honey)

Welcome to Day Five

This week, we’ve learned:

• Day 1: God made me on purpose

• Day 2: God’s Word is sweet

• Day 3: God’s Word is true

• Day 4: God speaks through His Word

Today, we’re learning how to respond: We can follow God’s Word in our everyday lives. 

God doesn’t give us His Word just to read, it helps us know how to live.

“Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.”  James 1:22 

Today’s Truth:  I can live out what God teaches me.

The Bible teaches us many things, but it also asks us to respond.

Following God’s Word means:

• Choosing kindness

• Being honest

• Loving others

• Obeying God even when it’s hard

We won’t do this perfectly, but God helps us learn and grow.

Think About It:

• What is one thing God’s Word has taught you this week?

• How can you practice it today?

Prayer:

Dear God, Help me not just hear Your Word, but live it out.  Teach me to make choices that honor You. Amen.
