Week 5 | Day 5 – Thinking Before We Choose (Growing Honey)

This week, we’ve been learning how God helps us make wise choices.
We’ve learned what wisdom is, where wisdom comes from, and how prayer helps guide our decisions.

Today, we’re learning an important step in making wise choices:

Wise choices begin when we slow down and think before we act.

God helps us pause, consider what is right, and choose wisely instead of rushing.

“The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty.”
Proverbs 21:5

This verse reminds us that careful thinking and planning help us make wise choices.

Today’s Truth:

Wise choices take time and thought.

God doesn’t want us to rush into decisions.
Thinking carefully helps us choose what honors God.

When we slow down, we give God room to guide us.

Prayer:  

Dear God, Help me pause before I choose.  Guide my thoughts and actions. Amen.

Activity: 

Write one situation where slowing down could help you make a better choice.
