Week 4 | Day 5 – God’s Word Helps Me Grow (Rooted Honey)
This week, we’ve learned that the Bible is God’s Word, that it tells us who God is, that it teaches us how to live, and that it is true.
Today, we’re learning another important truth:
God’s Word helps us grow.
Just like our bodies grow with food, our faith grows when we spend time in God’s Word.
“Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation”
1 Peter 2:2
This verse reminds us that God’s Word helps our faith grow strong and healthy.
Today’s Truth:
Spiritual growth takes time.
Faith grows through consistent time in God’s Word.
Even when we don’t see immediate change, Scripture is shaping our hearts and minds.
God uses His Word to help us mature and grow closer to Him.
Prayer:
Dear God, Thank You for using Your Word to grow my faith. Help me stay faithful in learning and applying Scripture. Amen.
Reflection Prompt:
What habit could help you grow spiritually through God’s Word?
Optional Supplies or Resources: Bible, Journal
Looking Ahead:
Tomorrow is Reflection Day. We’ll slow down and look back on what God has been teaching us through His Word this week.
