Week 4 | Day 3 – God’s Word Teaches Me How to Live (Little Honey)

So far this week, we’ve learned that the Bible is God’s Word and that God’s Word tells us who He is.

Today, we’re learning another important truth:

God’s Word teaches us how to live.

The Bible helps guide our choices, our actions, and our hearts.

God didn’t give us His Word to confuse us, He gave it to help us.

“For this command is a lamp, this teaching is a light, and correction and instruction are the way to life”

Proverbs 6:23 

This verse reminds us that God’s Word helps show us the right way to go.

Today’s Truth:

The Bible helps me choose what is right.

The Bible helps us know how to love others.

The Bible helps us know how to obey God.

God’s Word helps guide us every day.

Prayer:

Dear God, Thank You for Your Word.  Help me make good choices.  Amen.

Activity:

Turn on the flashlight and say together: “God’s Word helps me see the right way.”
