God Speaks to Me Through His Word (Growing Honey)

Welcome to Day Four

So far this week, we’ve learned:

• Day 1: God made me on purpose

• Day 2: God’s Word is sweet

• Day 3: God’s Word is true

Today, we’re learning something very comforting:  God speaks to us through His Word. 

God is not silent.

He speaks to us through the Bible to guide, teach, and remind us of His love.

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”  Psalm 119:105

Today’s Truth: God speaks to me through His Word. 

God doesn’t always speak with a loud voice.

Most often, He speaks through the Bible.

When we read Scripture, God helps us understand:

• What is right

• How to make wise choices

• How to love others

Learning to listen to God takes practice, but God is always willing to speak.

Think About It:

• When do you usually read the Bible?

• How can you make time to listen to God this week?

Prayer:

Dear God, Thank You for speaking through Your Word. Help me slow down and listen to You. Amen..
