Week 3 | Day 1 – What is Prayer? (Little Honey)
Welcome to Week Three.
Last week, we learned that God is our Father, that He loves us, cares for us, provides for us, guides us, and stays with us.
This week, we are learning something very special:
Because God is our Father, we can talk to Him.
That is what prayer is.
Prayer is not complicated or scary.
Prayer is simply talking to God and listening to Him.
God wants to hear from His children.
“The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth.”
Psalm 145:18
This verse reminds us that when we talk to God, He is close and listening.
Today’s Truth
Prayer is talking to God.
You can talk to God anytime.
You can talk to God when you are happy.
You can talk to God when you are sad.

Prayer can be spoken out loud.
God listens every time.
