Reflecting on God as My Father (Little Honey)
Welcome to Day Six.
All week long, we have been learning what it means to have God as our Father.
We’ve learned that God:
• Loves us
• Cares for us
• Provides for us
• Guides us
• Protects us
Today is a day to slow down.
Instead of learning something new, today we are taking time to reflect, to think about what we’ve learned and how it has shaped our hearts this week.
Reflection helps us remember God’s truth and allows it to grow deeper inside us.
“He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”” Psalm 46:10
This verse reminds us that sometimes the best way to learn is to be still, quiet our hearts, and remember who God is.
Today’s Truth:
God is my Father, and He loves me.
This week, you learned that God loves you, takes care of you, and stays close to you.
Today, we take time to remember:
God is good.
God is kind.
God is my Father.
Activity:
Draw a picture of God taking care of you this week (loving you, helping you, protecting you).
Prayer:
Dear God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for being my Father. Help me remember You are always good. Amen.
Recommended Supplies or Resources: Bible, Journal, Crayons
Looking Ahead:
Tomorrow, we will wrap up the week by celebrating who we are: God’s children, loved, cared for, and held by our Heavenly Father.
